In our pursuit of greater heights, we have joined forces with Eng. Indrajith Rajapaksa and Dr. (Ms) Suhanki Rajapaksa in creating our Medical Informatics as our latest strategic business unit.

We have the knowledge and capacity to build advanced systems such as

• Patient Electronic Health Record keeping with integration of Labs and tests
• Unified Prenatal Care Systems
• eFirstHelp Systems
• Data mining applications for research physicians
• We also work on custom applications. Mobile medical applications is an active area we are researching on

Eng. Indrajith Rajapaksa

Indrajith is the Executive Vice President of the Medical Informatics Unit of ITF. He was the founder of TecSolutions - a software company specializing in custom software development and consultancy.
Qualified with a BSc (First Class) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering (the prestigious University of Peradeniya), he started his career in Engineering. His career in brief:

• Systems Engineer at Mobitel
• R&D Software Engineer at Avortec
• Systems Designer/ Developer for ID Systems
• An ardent lover of teaching, he teaches in his spare time and has held teaching positions at the Computer Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering University of Peradeniya and Informatics Institute of Technology

Dr. (Ms.) Suhanki Rajapaksa

Suhanki is the Medical Informatics Solutions Architect of our Medical Informatics Unit.
She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Ruhuna.
She takes on a dual role of a medical doctor and IT specialist. Before joining ITF she was the cofounder of TechSolutions and held the position of Solutions Architect/Developer.

She specializes in IT techniques to optimize patient care, and provide IT solutions to the medical field.
